FAQs

How many people will I be sharing a room with?

You will have your own room and, in some instances, your own en-suite bathroom. There are options to share if you would prefer; it’s a cheaper option, just let us know and we can arrange this for you.

Can I book with a friend?

We would love this.  We would love it even more if you had met this friend from a previous experience with us.  Again, just let us know and we can arrange this with you.

What kind of NDIS funding do I need to join The Bolt community and be a guest on a curated experience?

Check out our pricing page for all the details on pricing.  There are a few options we can look at; we aim to help you get the most out of your NDIS Plan.

Are your staff qualified?

They sure are.  Despite this we don’t just hire people based on their qualifications.  They have to be the right fit for what we are trying to achieve.  The Bolt will provide high quality care, but also exceptional customer service and we hire people that fit this mold.

What age do I have to be to join The Bolt community?

Our guests must be 18+ years of age.

What is the eligibility?

The Bolt would like to welcome as many people as possible to our community and respect everyone’s right to enjoy enjoyable, relaxing and restorative experiences.  However, we need to ensure that our experiences are safe, and we provide the right support to the right people.  As a result, the Bolt, currently, is unable to accommodate people with severe intellectual disabilities and/or challenging, violent or aggressive behaviors.  We do support assistance with personal activities, but we will need to assess this on a case by case basis.

Also, please bear in mind that if a guest is required to take medication then The Bolt is not authorized to administer.  Therefore, if a guest requires support to take medication, unfortunately they will not be able to join us on a Short Stay Bolt.

How do I know what experience will suit me?

The Bolt will get to know you and understand what you like and what experiences will suit you.  For example, if you’re not able to walk far, then we won’t recommend experiences that involve a lot of walking.  Conversely, if you like being out in the fresh and being active then an experience involving walking may be just the ticket.

Do you provide transport to and from The Bolt experiences?

We sure do.  The aim over time is to provide experiences across Australia but for the time being we’re providing experiences in and around Melbourne.
